Burlesque performer Isla Banks’ loves to bump, she loves to grind, she loves to work hard and unwind.
All the way from Aotearoa – New Zealand, fascinated by the bright lights of a nearby city, she dreamed of a life of riches & excitement beyond the boundaries of her rural upbringing.
Vintage glamour, and power-dressing decadence with contemporary burlesque values, Isla draws inspiration from the technicolour film era of old Hollywood, the flashy excess of 1980s Wall Street, and the bold, innovative aesthetics of modern burlesque.
With legs for days, Isla Banks is always curious about what’s possible on stage, engaging generously with her audience to titillate and tease.
When not on stage, Isla teaches at Corps de Burlesque – School of Seduction, sharing her expertise and passion with aspiring performers.
